Less hectic and touristy than its big brother Buenos Aires: but just as vibrant and with an entirely different character.
You will receive a warm welcome from the friendly Cordobeses, who are known for their quick wit and pride of their city which is home to the country’s oldest University.
Scattered around the city are the many estancias, an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Far from slumming it, these luxurious hilltop estancias are extremely comfortable, run by local families who serve up delicious homemade food in wonderful surroundings. From here you can explore the Sierras Chicas on horseback with our local guides who really know the area.
Hiking into the mountains and watching the condors glide above you in the Quebrada National Park is magical and an experience not to be missed. For the intrepid traveller, we can organise trips to more remote places and canyons for camping, trekking and horse riding. Don’t miss the historic Jesuit Estancias to the north of the province.
An interesting region, that’s often overlooked, but well worth a visit
