Seasides and natural wonders

So jaw-dropping is the architecture and scenery in Cartagena it was used film the screen version of Gabriel Garcia Marquez masterpiece, Love in a Time of Cholera. We take you to the city’s most famous church that resembles the stern of a galleon and gives 360 degree views over the city. If you prefer your galleons on water take a cruise round the bay on a replica of a 17th century Spanish galleon and view the city as long ago pirates would have done  Even your hotel is surrounded by the architectural wonders of the old city. You will be staying at the Alfiz Boutique. The region is abundant in natural wonder. Take an optional visit to the Archipelago del Rosario, a nature reserve that seemingly packs in the beauty of the entire Caribbean in one area. There are 23 islands, each one immersed in spectacular coral reefs, crystal waters and dreamlike landscapes.

Glorious coastlines and national parks

From one stretch of natural majesty we take you to another in one of Colombia’s 46 national parks. Tayrona is probably its most famous. This time you’ll be sleeping in the very midst of this Eden-like beauty, in the luxury EcoHabs that overlooks the sea.

Covering 15,000 hectares the climate in this park oscillates between 25 and 30 celsius for optimum conditions. It’s an ideal spot for nature lovers, teeming with hundreds of mammals, and a mix of 200 birds and reptiles, all of which you can take a tour to view. Take a trek through the wilderness and find remote beaches, each with a different style for different moods, where you can surf, swim or simply kick back as gentle waves lull you to sleep.
