The Trip

one of the world’s great metropolis

As soon as you arrive into Mexico city we’ll whisk you away to the luxury Condesa DF. Mexico city is well worth a few days to fully appreciate its size. Cultural gems from museums and colonial architecture are all on offer and our guides will help you get fully under its skin. One of the highlights is a trip to Museum of Anthropology. You’ll have plenty of free time to go and explore Mexico City’s many great places to try their fiery cuisine.

back in time

Over the coming days we’ll whisk you away on a tour of the cities and areas that make up the colonial heartlands of Mexico. First stop is San Miguel de Allende where you’ll be staying at the Casa de Sierra Nevada. Have a city tour with our guide before taking some time to enjoy it on your own terms.

colonial times

Let your camera go into overdrive as you snap non-stop in the town of Guanajuato, brimming with colonial splendour. Tread through quaint plazas, wind through the cobbled streets, and explore underground passageways in the same way the forefathers of this city did. It was the ancient Spaniards who came here to discover the riches of silver mining, that made it one of the world’s wealthiest towns and the third biggest producer of silver in the world.

Morelia

Let your sense of awe go further as we whisk you to the stunning town of Morelia, full of quintessential Spanish old school style. The boulevards are full of streets made of polished stone, that simply dazzle in the sunlight. Gaze at the Plaza de Los Martires, a piece of living history, constructed from pink stone over a course of 200-years, and crowned by the city cathedral. Your stay here will be completed by staying at the historic Los Juaninos.

second largest metropolis

Arrive into Guadalajara, second largest metropolis in Mexico, and one of the most beautiful cities in the Americas. It’s a city of parks, fountains, monuments and rose-lined boulevards, buzzing with colonial colour, dating back to 1542. Stay at the stunning Villa Ganz. Explore the backstreets of this old world city before embarking on a trip to the heart of Tequila country. Sip from the real source of tequila at a distillery, and find the blue agarve plant, learning the history of this world renowned drink.

ultimate beach chic

End the journey in Puerto Vallarta, where you can mix your taste for colonial grandeur with a stay at this stunning beach side location. Kick back in a hammock, or leap into the azure waters for an ultimate sense of refreshment. Stay in splendorous surrounds at Hacienda San Angel. Puerto Vallarto is the seaside town from paradise, sophisticated and gorgeous. It curves around the sparkling blue Bahía de Banderas (Bay of Flags), backed by lush palm-covered mountains. Laze among the dazzling sandy beaches, browse in the quaint shops, feast in the stylish restaurants and tread through the cobbled streets. Our guides can take you on cruises, horseback rides, diving trips and day tours – before being back to sample the thriving nightlife.
