Named after H. M. Queen Silvia of Sweden, with her gracious permission, Reina Silvia operates superbly-crafted natural history experiences in the Galápagos Archipelago. Now she has been re-modelled with extensive changes and enhancements throughout. While the Reina Silvia retains permission to carry 16 guests, she will usually sail with just 12 like-minded adventurers.
Reina Silvia accommodates her guests in six staterooms. She has two staterooms, one on the top deck and one on the mid deck, which can be configured with either two twin beds or one king-sized bed.
The four lower-deck staterooms can be configured with either two twin beds or one king-sized bed. Additionally, they each have a Pullman-style bed to accommodate a third guest. These staterooms are normally considered doubles, but upon guest request only, may be configured as triples.
All staterooms have en suite facilities including shower, lavatory and vanity area.
The Reina Silvia is fully air-conditioned and features up-to-date security, safety, navigational and communications equipment, including cell and satellite telephone. From the well-equipped galley, excellent cuisine is served in the spacious dining room. A full range of beverages are served at the salon and upper deck bars.
Reina Silvia has a swimming-diving platform aft and an extended bow for whale and dolphin watching. The desalinator provides abundant potable freshwater. A waste water treatment plant ensures all water from the Reina Silvia has been treated before it is released into the Galápagos waterways, making it one of the "greenest" yachts in the Islands.
