Aboard the Leal Cruiser

A live-aboard tour in a pleasant and exclusive environment. The luxury yacht only takes a small group. The aim of the cruise is to enable guests to enjoy the amazing Patagonian wilderness whilst travelling in comfort. Activities such as reading, the interpretation of the local flora and fauna and presentations on historical events related to the first settlers in this area, also contribute to the full appreciation of this outstanding area.

Departures: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from September till the end of May.

Itinerary

Day 1: El Calafate / Upsala & Spegazzini Glaciers
Starting from the harbour at 0900 hrs, we sail up to Punta Avellaneda along the northern branch of Lago Argentino. We then travel towards the Upsala channel to sail among icebergs and reach the Upsala wall. At midday we set anchor in Onelli Bay for lunch. We then resume navigation to the front of the Spegazzini Glacier. In the afternoon we stop and set anchor in Puesto Vacas (in the Spegazzini Channel) and stay there overnight.

Day 2: Perito Moreno Glacier / El Calafate
In the morning we travel to Alemana Bay for lunch. In the afternoon we visit the famous Perito Moreno Glacier and return to harbour at 1700 hrs.

Prices include:
Accommodation, full board, activities and guide services.

Prices do not include:
Airline tickets, airport taxes and local taxes, beverages, personal expenses and extras, tips for baggage handling and optional gratuities for guides / drivers.

Airline tickets:
Buenos Aires-El Calafate approximately £230 per person return, subject to change. An airport tax of approximately US$5 per person is payable locally upon departure from El Calafate.
