Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Chaa Creek
Clients are met at the airport by a representative and transferred to their rainforest lodge. At the lodge guests can enjoy a welcome dinner with their tour leader who will provide them with an introduction to the tour. Overnight at Chaa Creek in Cottages or similar (5N)

Day 2: Actun Tunich Macnal
American breakfast at the lodge with tour leader. Then we have a transfer on bumpy backroads to the famous site of Actun Tunich Macnal. A beautiful hike through the rainforest brings us to the entrance of the cave. Here we start with a short swim and then hike all the way to the main chamber, where Mayan pottery and skeletons can be seen. After our exploration we enjoy lunch near the entrance of the cave, before hiking back through the jungle with many stories to share. Back at the lodge free evening for additional activities.

Day 3: Horse riding and Big rock falls
American breakfast at the lodge with tour leader. Then we have a transfer on bumpy backroads to the foothills of Mountain pine ridge. Here we start our adventure, western style horse riding through the jungle and open savanna. A short transfer brings us to big rock falls, an amazing natural swimming spot in the mountains, enjoy a picnic lunch and a splash in the crystal clear waters of upper macal river. Back at the lodge free rest evening for additional activities.

Day 4: Cave Chechem Ha & Hike to Black Rock
American breakfast with the tour leader at Chaa Creek and then a short transfer (40mins) to the site of the spectacular Chechem Ha dry cave. Clients will hike a short distance in the rainforest to the mouth of the cave and then explore this ancient Maya ritual site which contains some of the largest pottery remains in Mesoamerica. After a few hours' cave exploration and refreshments clients will then hike down through lush rainforest to "Vaca Falls" situated in the impressive Black Rock Canyon and onto the lodge at Black Rock.
Lunch at Black Rock Lodge. After lunch clients will be transferred back to Chaa Creek where they can enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

Day 5: Bike to Xunantunich, Tour, Canoe, City tour San Ignacio
American breakfast with the tour leader at Chaa Creek and then we will be mounting our mountain bikes and donning our helmets for a bike ride on backroads and trails to the Maya site of Xunantunich. Once at the site we will freshen up and have a guided tour to explore the site then recharge our energies with a light buffet. When ready we will board canoes just at the base of the site on the Mopan river and take on the adventure of canoeing downriver towards the town of San Ignacio through small river rapids, whilst enjoying plenty of birds and iguanas along the way. Lunch at Clarrissa Falls before transferring to San Ignacio for sightseeing. Overnight at Chaa Creek cottages.

OPTION 1: TOLEDO ADVENTURE (OCELOT TOUR)
Day 6: Cave tubing and flight to Toledo district
After a tasty breakfast we transfer to the airport and on the way enjoy Belize’s famous enjoying cave tubing adventure at Jaguar Paw. Then we fly south to the lesser-visited, pristine area of Toledo and to the Garifuna fishing town of Punta Gorda. Stay at El Pescador or similar 3N

Day 7: Snorkel at Snakes Caye
After breakfast we transfer down the tropical river from our lodge out to the Caribbean sea where a day of snorkeling on the largest coral reef in the western hemisphere awaits with a beach barbeque on a small, white sand island. Back at the lodge, the rest of the day to relax or explore the surroundings of our jungle lodge.

Day 8: Jungle River Kayak River to Sea
Today we explore by kayak through the coastal mangroves and learn about the local bird & wildlife, traditional fishing methods and conservation issues in the area.

OPTION 2: BEACH RELAXATION (TAPIR TOUR)
Day 6: Cave tubing and flight to Ambergris Key
After a tasty breakfast we transfer to the airport, not without enjoying cave tubing en route at jaguar paw. After lunch we fly out to ambergris key & transfer to our beach hotel. Overnight at Mata Rocks or similar 3 N

Day 7: Shark Ray Alley & Hol Chan Marine Park
After breakfast you can enjoy the famous Shark Ray Alley and Hol Chan Marine park snorkel trip. Then you can have a free afternoon to relax or book another trip.

Day 8: Free day to relax
Today you can just relax on the beach, have some spa treatments or we can help to arrange another trip, windsurfing, snorkeling, diving etc – all payable locally.
BOTH OPTIONS
Day 9: Transfer out
Early transfer to airport for flight to Belize city in time for international flight out.
