Antigua

The Lions Inn

Chichicastenango

Santo Tomas Hotel
The collection of Spanish colonial art of this hotel is better than the collections of most major museums. The flowers on the patios rivals those of many botanical gardens. Tikal

Nitun Lodge
The four luxurious wood and rock cabins, thatched with palm leaves, offer comfort as well as privacy. All the cabins are furnished with handcrafted lamps, beautiful cotton bedspreads and carpets made by artisans from different indigenous communities. Paintings copied from Mayan vases and murals by local artists hang in each room. All the cabins have a private terrace with a beautiful view of Lake Peten Itza. La Lancha
La Lancha overlooks the beautiful Lake Peten Itza, located just 30 minutes from the Flores airport and 45 minutes from the Maya classic city of Tikal. There is a main lodge, with soaring thatch roof and open views, with restaurant, bar and a bi-level swimming pool. It is just a short walk to the lake where you can swim, canoe, kayak or fish. There are numerous trails for hikes to explore the local flora and fauna and for bird watching.
