Reserva Amazonica
Reserva Amazonica sits smack on the river bank amid a 40-square-mile private ecological reserve in the heart of the Amazon Rain Forest, adjacent to the Tambopata national park. The lodge performs innovative sustainable use of the Amazon Rainforest and provides the best tourism infrastructure available in the entire region; and it is a prime location for exploring the rain forest. Service areas are located in a two-storey wooden pavilion with cathedral ceiling that houses the dining room, the bar and the lounge, and a mezzanine overlooking the rainforest where visitors can relax while contemplating a unique scenery.

Posada Amazonas
Posada Amazonas is run and staffed mainly by members of the native Ese'eja community. Ese'eja means "true people", and they are expert river navigators who support themselves by hunting and preparing forest medicines. Because of the lodge's community ownership, guests have ample opportunity to "go local". This might mean taking ethno-botanical walks, during which Ese'eja guides explain which seeds and barks are traditionally used for hammocks, fans, arrows, and medicines or visiting the neighboring 1.8-million-acre Tambopata National Wildlife Reserve to search for giant river otters and parrots. Those who prefer altitude can climb the lodge's seven-story, 115-foot canopy tower and stop at each level to observe tanagers, jacamars, guans, and oropendulas in action. There's no electricity or hot water at Posada Amazonas, but hurricane lamps serve as night-lights and mosquito netting covers the beds. The lodge is constructed from local clay and wild cane and roofed with palm fronds. Each of its 30 bedrooms opens directly onto the rainforest.

Tambopata Lodge
Situated on the banks of the Tambopata River in the heart of the Tambopata National Reserve the remoteness and tranquility of this lodge makes for a richly rewarding visit to the rain forest. Built in harmony with the forest, cabins are constructed from local materials. Cabins are rustic with palm thatching and screens- all without electricity. Candles and lamps are used after dark making for a relaxing natural ambiance. There is solar energy lighting in the suite building. A small generator is used minimally (to reduce noise, pollution and similar). There are individual cabins which have a porch with hammocks and table and chairs for relaxing. There is no hot water except in the suite building. The main building consists of a screened dinning room, where meals are served, and water, coffee, tea and bananas are available 24 hours a day. There is an attached bar for socializing which has games and books for entertainment.
