Cusco & Machu Picchu “Express”, with one night at Machu Picchu

From Cusco take the unique Vistadome train to fabled Machu Picchu ruins, return by road through the Sacred Valley. Plus guided visit of Cusco and nearby Inca sites.

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Machu Picchu
Reception and transfer to the Urubamba train station to take the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes, at the foot of the Machu Picchu ruins. Minibus up to the ruins and guided visit of Machu Picchu, which is totally built of stone blocks, fitted with masterful precision. This fabulous city has houses, temples, warehouses, and a large central square, all connected by narrow roads and steps, and is surrounded by terraces cut into the mountain side which were used for agriculture. Lunch included. Accommodation at your selected hotel.

Day 2: Machu Picchu - Cusco
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure (second bus and second entrance to the ruins not included). In the afternoon return to Cusco and transfer to selected hotel.
