Select Latin America at Destinations show London

In the last decade, Argentina has been trying to move away from being a relatively unknown South American giant with good beef, polo and footballers. It is fast becoming the leader in South American tourism. We are proud to have been invited to exhibit our adventure, wildlife and cultural tours on the Argentina stand at the Destinations show at Earls Court exhibition centre, London 3 - 6 February 2011. Come and visit us there.

Top UK birder, Dick Filby, joins three Antarctic voyages

Birdwatchers will be interested to hear that we will have specialist field birder Dick Filby onboard the Marina Svetaeva for three polar cruises in January and February 2011.

Popular polar photographer Daisy Gilardini and her partner, watercolour artist David McEown, will be on three of our Antarctic departures this coming season.

The British Birdwatching Fair
The British Birdwatching Fair is the world's first and largest international birdwatching event
Described as the birdwatcher's Glastonbury, Birdfair encompasses the whole spectrum of the birdwatching industry whilst at the same time supporting global bird conservation. This is the event of the year if you're into birds and wildlife. There are hundreds of stands selling the latest products for wildlife enthusiasts. Our director David Horwell will be giving a talk called "Galapagos, Islands of Birds and reptiles" in Lecture Marquee Two on Saturday 21 August from 5.00-5.20 pm. Select Latin America will be having a stand for the whole show for the 10th year.

Boris Johnson attends launch of GLA's London New Enterprise website

On Friday 12 March, the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, paid us a surprise visit at our office building. Boris came to the launch of the GLA's London New Enterprise site, a new website that will help new enterprises find working space as well as help and guidance.
