cool capital

Touch down in Lima, Peru’s vibrant capital. Our guides are all local and accredited in showing visitors the very best hidden secrets of this city. You’ll see pre-Hispanic temples, colonial mansions and its myriad of different districts. There’s almost one for every mood, Barranco is a bohemian neighbourhood and packed with curious cafes, nightclubs, pubs and music. Santiago de Surco boasts forgotten wine cellars going back more than 100-years. Kickback in Miraflores, offering beaches and beautiful cliff side bays. Take a paragliding leap off the coast and see this glorious city from the air. The AC Hotel Lima Miraflores has stunning views over the Pacific Ocean,  serves some of the best food in the country, is one of Lima’s most comfortable hotels.

cobbled streets and colourful markets

Board your flight to Cuzco. Its old city is worth a visit in its own right, with cobbled streets, colourful markets, and buzzing nightlife. You can get a taster for the Inca Trail by exploring Cuzco’s nearby ruins, in the blissful silence that you can only experience in this part of the world. Your hotel, the Picoaga, won’t disappoint as each day you can return to your luxury bolthole. Cuzco is also the gateway to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas and one of the most amazing archaeological sites on the planet. Next stop is Pisac Market and Ollantaytambo, the last inhabited Inca settlement, before arriving in the Sacred Valley and the Sol y Luna Hotel. Continue by train  through the valley up to the town below Machu Picchu itself. However you choose to get there our local guides will make these majestic ancient ruins come alive with stories of daily life in the heyday of this lost citadel before giving you time to explore the wonder for yourself. You’ll be staying at El Mapi.

different flavour

Jet off to Quito, one of the loftiest city in South America. They say the setting alone is enough to leave you speechless and it certainly is. Find it sitting in the Andean mountain range and in the lap of stunning volcanoes. Its old colonial city is an onslaught to the senses, smell the aromas of street vendors, baking bread and hogs roasting around a fire, wander as if lost in time through its narrow streets. There’s loads of time to absorb the ambience as you prepare for the Galapagos Islands ahead. You’ll do all this in comfort staying at the Patio Andaluz.

swimming with sea lions

Follow in Darwin’s footstep’s as you arrive into the Galapagos Islands and board the Cachalote Explorer motor yacht for your eight day voyage. First stop is Black Turtle Cove, where you can spot sharks rays and sea turtles. These shores are brimming with nature preserving a magical territory unfound anywhere else. Walk around the red mangroves and see the igunas gorging on the prickly pear. Refuel for a spotting-spree of rare species. We show you the best spots to spy the Galapagos fur seals, normally too shy to be viewed up close. Each day you’ll have the opportunity to swim and snorkel with the marine wildlife from sea lions to sharks and tropical fish to rays. Study the vibrant and colourful scenes of finches and flamingos then finish your trip learning how people are trying to preserve these amazing islands and their unique creatures. Wowed by the dizzying array of wildlife, we take you back for your flight back home.
