a night in the big city

Touch down in Buenos Aires where our local guide will be waiting to take you to the Art Hotel in the centre of the city. Once you’ve had a chance to settle in, our guide will take you on a walking tour of the city to help you acquaint yourself. Spend the evening sampling some of Buenos Aires best restaurants, or dance the night away at one of the tango bars.

head to the south

In the morning you’ll jet off down to Ushuaia, the world’s most southerly city and arrive at the Fueguino Hotel. Over the next few days you’ll thoroughly explore the surrounding area including hikes through the pristine forest to the summit of Cerro Cortes, observing eagles and Andean condors in the Tierra del Fuego National Park and board canoes to peacefully paddle downstream on the Ovando River.

mountain air

Board a plane to head up to El Calafate. Your home for the next few days will be Hosteria Senderos in the small town of El Chalten. Our local guides will be on hand to show you the local area. Take a full day hike to Mt Fitz Roy base camp and enjoy breathtaking views of the three glaciers draining into a lagoon and Lake Viedma. On the following day take second hike up a Patagonian classic: Mt Torre ending at Laguna Torre.

the mighty glacier

With still so much to see, you continue on to the town of El Calafate and your hotel, La Cantera. Enjoy an evening in the town although don’t stay out to late as this next morning you’ll be heading to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Enjoy spectacular views of the glacier before boarding a boat to navigate across Argentio Lake (hopefully having a close encounter with calving ice) and don crampons for a trek across the glacier itself. Jet back to Buenos Aires for another night in this fabulous city before jetting back home feeling refreshed and renewed.
