What can we say? One of the seven natural wonders of the world and rightly so.
Set in subtropical rainforest full of birds and butterflies and bordering Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, these immense waterfalls are an unforgettable sight.
Water originates in Brazil before fanning over the rocky plateau and plunging over countless cascades. The Iguazú falls are best seen on the Argentinean side where our guides can show you around some of the hidden trails. Feel the spray on your face standing on the walkway in front of the famous colossal Devil’s Throat or get really wet on one of our boat trips underneath the falls. How about seeing the falls from up above on a helicopter ride?
There are many places to stay but our favourite has to be the Loi Suites located not far from the falls. Take an early morning walk to see the falls in their best light.
For something a little different, why not have a few days in the jungle lodges outside Iguazú: great for wildlife and relaxation. Or try a visit to the lesser visited Jesuit missions for a little history.
One of the most exciting things to do on any trip to South America
