Located in the colonial area of Popayan, the Hotel Dann Monasterio was constructed in the 17th century. First it was used as a monastery before being converted in 1940 to a military barracks before finally becoming a boutique hotel.
The excellent restaurant serves French and local cuisine and the hotel also has a spa and a pool from which to relax and unwind in.
