Guayabo Lodge

Guayabo lodge Costa Rica is in the Turrialba region with easy access to the Central Valley, the Caribbean Coast, and the South-Pacific. At 1500 metres above sea level, the climate is pleasantly cool. The region has many plants and birds. Guayabo Lodge blends with the natural surroundings and adopts sustainable practices. The lodge’s been awarded 4 leaves for sustainable tourism. They also offer Eco tours which contribute to community projects, that include planting a tree. Guests can enjoy the peaceful gardens surrounding the lodge. There’s a garden tour available through the Orchid and Bromelia gardens. These gardens are ideal to perform yoga routines or simply to relax.

There are 22 standard rooms at the Lodge and 4 Mountain Suites. The cheery rooms are all light and airy. Mountain Suites offer scenic mountain views. At this altitude there is no need for fans or AC. The décor is based on folkloric art and feature colourful murals by local artists painted.

The La Granadilla Restaurant opens throughout the day offering typical costarican dishes in its Tropical Fusion Kitchen. There’s a new Menu of the Day.

Guayabo Lodge offers a tropical cookery school, local tours, including the Orosi Valley, Irazu Volcano, hiking, birding and more.
