During the tour with a private guide you’ll visit the world famous Castillo, the pyramid and the scared cenote. After all the exploration, the afternoon will be about relaxation. You will be taken to a private cenote (no one buy yourselves will have use of it), on the ruins of an historic ranch. Here you can swim and snorkel in the clear waters and relax in total privacy. A delicious fête champêtre-style lunch will be served beneath the magnificent old trees. At the end of the day you’ll be brought to the city of Merida and spend the night at the Casa Lecanda. The following day you’re expert local guide will take you on a tour of this fascinating city.

Continue on your luxury adventure to the Hacienda Tekik de Regil where you’ll enjoy a private cooking class from a renowned chef of the region. Tekik is an architectural gem from the Yucatecan Belle Époque, recently refurbished and painstakingly restored. Lunch will be served on the hacienda’s terrace and there will be plenty of time for swimming and relaxation in the afternoon. End the day at the Hacienda Santa Rosa. The following day is completely free to relax or explore at your own pace.

the Yucatan’s Gulf coast

Today you will explore fascinating nature preserve, Celestún. A boat excursion takes you deep inside the estuary and bordering mangrove forests where you will find American flamingos. You can also swim in a natural spring and visit the town of Celestún, an authentic fishing village, practically frozen in time.

absolute luxury

The last two nights will be spent at the Hacienda Xocnaceh in absolute luxury. You will take a private tour of Uxmal, the largest site famed for Puuc-style architecture. Enjoy a private lunch in the ruins of the hacienda’s church and visit Mayapan, the last great capital of the Maya in Yucatan (there are around 4,000 structures).
