Explore jungles and rain forests

When you arrive in San José, Costa Rica, you will spend the first night at the wonderful Grano de Oro. The next day you’ll go straight to the heart of adventure in the exhilarating Tortuguero National Park. Stop off at banana plantations en route to see the source of the nation’s favourite fruit.

Once inside the exotic paradise of the national park you’ll gently boat through the canals, pausing to look out for the enchanting wildlife that live here in idyllic nature. Stay at the luxury Manatus Lodge in the heart of the park. The area brims with pristine jungle.

Our guides can take you to the unforgettable sight of seeing baby turtles making their way to the sea or you can pause to look out for some of the most colourful species of butterflies on the planet.

Smoky volcanoes

Next stop is the smoky volcano of Arenal. Your luxury base will be the Arenal Kioro in full view of the volcano. Sometimes you can see lava flowing down the sides of the volcano and on some days you might even see it erupting in one of nature’s finest firework displays. During your stay you’ll take hikes in the spectacular scenery and take a dip in the natural hot springs.

Crossing the border

Go from one paradise to the next as you fly over into Panama and the stunning archipelago of Bocas del Toro. Our guide will be waiting to meet you and take you by boat to your over-the-water bungalow, Punta Caracol.

On your very first day you’ll be spotting dolphins leaping in front of the boat from turquoise waters. Dive in with them and go snorkelling among the pristine waters of Coral Key, one of Latin America’s best kept seaside secrets, teeming with colourful fish. You can kickback on the beach by afternoon and soak up the soothing ambience of this beach paradise for complete bliss-out until sunset.

Head to the hills

Next stop is misty cloud forest of Boquete. Stay at the Panamonte Inn whilst exploring some of Latin America’s best walking trails including the famous Quetzal trail. The rainforest here is lush, dazzling and brimming with colourful birds and crystalline streams seeping over velvet-like moss and rock. Go in search of the vivid, and legendary Quetzal bird, believed to bestow spiritual inspiration on those who see it.

Panama City

Return to Panama City for your last night at the luxury Las Clementinas. Explore Panama City’s great nightlife and restaurants before flying back the following day.
