An 18th century colonial house, now converted into a charming pousada, the Porto Imperial offers an authentic experience in the heart of historical Paraty.
Throughout the pousada you notice the abundance of typical Brazilian artwork, much of it local to Paraty, including ceramics, tapestries and colonial furniture.
The rooms are simple but comfortable with period features in each one. The pousada also has a carriage operating through the week to take you on tours through the historical areas of the town.
