Integrity

Cruising the Galápagos islands on a luxurious yacht is an exceptional experience. Savour the wonders of the natural world without the chaos of crowds. Visit the smaller, intimate sites that large ships simply cannot or are not permitted to go. Going ashore is easy with a small group. Built in the USA, the Integrity conforms to exacting standards for luxury Galápagos cruising. All systems including engines, transmissions, stabilizers, electronics, water filtration and sterilization systems are state of the art. The decor is refreshed annually. From the swimming platform aft to the extended bow for whale and dolphin watching, Integrity was designed to enhance your Galápagos experience.

All staterooms are on the main deck and are lower twin, queen or king-bedded. There is a 350 sq. ft. king-bedded owner’s suite and one single stateroom. Each stateroom has large picture windows, individual climate control, satellite telephone, a stocked refrigerator, and an entertainment centre with CD/DVD and LCD monitor. Bathroom facilities are en suite with a full-size shower, lavatory and toilet.

The comfortable salon is bathed in natural light, perfect for reading or listening to lectures on Galápagos natural history, geology and tomorrow’s encounters. A wide-screen media center is hidden behind the painting of undersea life and is available for viewing your day’s images as well as for your guide’s informative presentations. On the partially covered top deck, you’ll find a spa, bar, barbecue and comfortable chaise lounges. It´s a place to relax, enjoy a beverage or snooze in the gentle breezes. Meals are served at four tables of six places, not far from a galley designed for gourmet chefs. House wine included with dinner.

With its huge state-of-the-art stabilizers and engine vibration control system, the Integrity will carry you through Darwin’s Islands more smoothly than any other yacht. You’ll enjoy peerless comfort as you tuck into your spacious, smartly decorated cabin or relax in the sun and watch the frigate birds overhead. Integrity also carries snorkel gear and a fleet of sea kayaks, perfect for exploring the Islands’ shorelines, inlets, bays, and quiet coves. No extra charge.

The naturalist guides are hand-picked based on their expertise, experience, and especially their ability to teach you about the Island’s incomparable flora, fauna, and human history. Integrity achieved the Galápagos Quality Gold Seal for its environmental practices, including on-board treatment of all waste water. Two electronically controlled, vibration isolated diesel engines, provide smooth cruising. Commitment to conservation, safety and quality are the hallmarks of Integrity’s operation.

Itineraries

Each Integrity cruise offers optional extra time on Santa Cruz Island, finding giant tortoises in the wild and exploring the Charles Darwin Research Station, before embarking on a weeklong journey through the islands. By spending time on Santa Cruz before boarding the yacht, Integrity can then spend more time cruising to some of the more rewarding visitor sites on outlying islands—an option not available on any other one week cruise.

The Western Route features the younger, active islands of Isabela and Fernandina, whereas the Eastern Route features the older islands of Española, San Cristóbal, and Genovesa. On many islands, you’ll explore more than one visitor site and have plenty of opportunities to snorkel and kayak.
